Established in 1948, AEC have been controlling and caring for the council owned water since then. AEC prides itself on providing our fishing members with a great opportunity to catch quality fish in an idyllic setting in the suburbs of West London.

The Millpond is best described as a natural mixed fishery with carp to 34lb, a good head of silver fish and the odd golden tench, and is also home to an abundance of wildlife set amidst the scenic backdrop of the Middlesex Golf Club.. The lake itself has 22 purpose-built platforms with easy access to suit anglers of all abilities. We have a retired qualified coach who is happy to offer tuition of the highest level to young anglers and newcomers to the sport. There's plenty of friendly banter at our monthly matches and we even compete with our very own team. Perhaps specimen carp are your target, or why not  just sit back and relax at one of our pegs and let the time pass by.

Our Head Bailiff & Fishery Manager dedicates a lot of his own time at the Millpond and will always chuck the kettle on if you just want to just pop down and say “Hello.” Why not even help on one of his many work parties?
